The Medical Research Foundation to fund first national PhD Training Programme to tackle antimicrobial resistance

The Medical Research Foundation, the Charity of the MRC, is investing £2.85m to create a PhD programme that will train new scientists to explore ways to tackle antimicrobial resistance, one of the greatest emerging threats to human health.

Profs Derrick Crook, Sarah Walker and Dr Nicole Stoesser are part of the Programme Leadership Team, they and Oxford will be an important part in the delivery and success of this programme.
