Manual Profiles

  1. Navigate to the People or Our Team section
  2. Click on the Add New dropdown in the top right corner
  3. Select profile
  4. Under the content tab, enter mandatory information marked by star.jpg i.e. First name, Last name, Username (which is the person's single-sign on), and Email
  5. Under the Categorization tab, select the appropriate catergory from the left box and use the arrow to move the category across to the right box
  6. Save
  7. Select State in the top right corner and Publish.

Remote Profiles

Sometimes, profiles may already exist on another Haiku instance. To avoid duplication of profiles, we use the remote content function.

  1. Navigate to the website where the profile already exists
  2. Click on the profile and copy the profile's URL
  3. Navigate to the People or Our Team section of the website where you would like this profile to be added to
  4. Select the Actions dropdown in the top right corner
  5. Select Add remote content
  6. Paste the URL (previously copied in step 2) into the blank field
  7. Click Continue
  8. Select the appropriate Category
  9. Create
  10. Select State in the top right corner and Publish.
